UEFA.com – Oliver Kahn

UEFA introduced a new multimedia section on their website where it showed video extracts from many matches from the Champions League and past European Championships. Depending on the category, the videos ranged from 2 to 20 minutes in length.

Oliver Kahn’s video was part of the video series of famous players created that were aired few days before the clashes between the big teams in the Champions League.

At the time, Uefa.com Action Play was a revolutionary subscription service that was among the first web-based “subscription on-demand” streaming services. The videos were streamed the videos on Real Player, which supported videos of low quality.

For the needs of this platform, I edited hundreds of shorter videos from the Champions League (2-10 min long) as well as 20 min extracts from all the 121 matches from the last 6 European Championships (1980: Italy, 1984: France, 1988: West Germany, 1992: Sweden, 1996: England, 2000: Belgium and Netherlands).
